D J Capelis is currently a graduate student at the University of California, Santa Cruz where she's helping start the department's new Working-group on Applied Security and Privacy. She often finds inspiration from ideas that would be better off pushed in a radically different or overlooked direction. In this vein, current focuses include trusted computing that isn't evil and the Internet. DJ enjoys pizza, cooking and short walks to the lab.
